All Membership plans are paid by monthly automatic electronic payment (credit card, debit card, or automatic checking account draft) and carry a 3 month commitment. Monthly memberships will automatically renew each month at the same payment terms and billing date established at time of enrollment. After the initial 3 months, plans will auto-renew the 3 month commitment.
3x/week membership affords the athlete 12 visits per pay period and access to all our program options. The visits may be dispersed throughout the month as their schedule allows as long as it does not exceed the 12 visit cap.
Unlimited membership affords the athlete unlimited visits and access to all program options.
Any changes to membership plans, or cancellations must be received in writing, sent to train@crossfitsouthlamar at least 10 days in advance of the next billing cycle or plan expiration date (3 month commitment end date). It is the members responsibility to monitor membership expiration and renewal dates.
If canceling prior to the plan expiration date (end of the 3 month commitment) a fee of 40% of the remaining contract balance will be incurred. We provide exceptions for moving out of state or area, injury and active duty military transfer.
Qualification and Notice Requirements: All payments drawn prior to the requested hold will not be refunded CrossFit South Lamar will only hold your membership if you are current on your monthly dues, provide at least 10 days’ notice for a hold request, allow 24 hours to process your request and you qualify for one of the three categories below:
Medical Exemption: If you have been injured and are unable to participate in the services at CrossFit South Lamar you may request a Medical Exemption Hold. The minimum term for a medical hold is one month and the maximum is six months.
Active Duty Military Transfer or Extended Volunteer Assignment: There is no minimum or maximum for assignment hold. If you request a specific hold term less than six months, your membership and monthly Electronic Funds Transfer ("EFT") or credit card charge will automatically resume at the end of the specified time. If you request a specific hold term greater than six months, or you do not specify a hold term, you must contact CrossFit South Lamar to reactivate your membership.
Extended Hold: We know and understand sometimes in life unexpected things come up that may affect your ability to continue to train with us at CrossFit South Lamar while still in the middle of your three month commitment. As a courtesy to our members, we may approve a request for an extended hold for reasons other than those listed above. The minimum length of an extended hold is one month. Maximum length of an extended hold is 6 months. If you request a specific hold term less than six months, your membership and monthly Electronic Funds Transfer ("EFT") or credit card charge will automatically resume at the end of the specified time. If you request a specific hold term greater than six months, or you do not specify a hold term, you must contact CrossFit South Lamar to reactivate your membership.
MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES AND DOWNGRADES:
All members are welcome to upgrade or downgrade their membership plans or packages without penalty. Memberships can be upgraded at the start of the next billing cycle. However, if a member wishes to upgrade immediately, their new membership plan will be prorated based on the number of days remaining in their current billing cycle at their new rate. At the start of the next monthly billing cycle they will be charged at their full membership rate.
If a member wishes to downgrade their membership to a lower session based plan they must wait until their next monthly bill date for the new plan to be effective. Please note, changes cannot be made retroactively.
CrossFit South Lamar will not provide refunds retroactively for any cancellation/hold requests.
CrossFit South Lamar does not issue refunds if you do not use your membership, nor can you carry over sessions to the next month if you missed a class. No exceptions.
MEMBERSHIP LAPSES AND MEMBERSHIP REACTIVATION:
If you choose to cancel your membership at any time and return at a later date you will be subject to any rate increases at the time of enrollment.
TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP BY CROSSFIT SOUTH LAMAR:
CrossFit South Lamar reserves the right to terminate membership and an athlete’s access to our facilities at any time. Immediately effective upon written or oral notice to the athlete, for any reason, including but not limited to an athlete’s failure to pay any amount when due, any other failure by an athlete to perform or comply with any of the policies and procedures of CrossFit South Lamar, which may be revised by CrossFit South Lamar from time to time. Repeated complaints from other members will be investigated by personnel and may result in membership termination.
CrossFit South Lamar offers punch card options for all of our classes, intended to meet the needs of the athlete who is not able to commit to one of our membership options.
8 CLASS PUNCH CARD:
8 Class Punch cards have a 60 day expiration date from the date of purchase.
16 CLASS PUNCH CARD:
16 Class Punch cards have a 90 day expiration date from the date of purchase.
Membership pricing is subject to change at any time. In the event of a membership price increase athletes will be notified via email at least 30 days prior and given the opportunity to submit a written cancellation or change request.
Punch Card pricing is subject to changes at any time. Athletes will be notified of a punch card price increase at the time of renewal for a new card.
Due to space and equipment limitations, and to allow coaches the ability to deliver the best possible athlete experience, all of our classes have a maximum athlete cap.
CrossFit and Conditioning classes are capped at 15 athletes.
All athletes are required to RSVP through the TRIIB portal for each class they plan to attend at least 30 min prior to scheduled class start time. If the class of your choice is full at the time you attempt to RSVP, your name will be added to a waitlist. If you have RSVP’d for a class and can no longer attend, we request you cancel your enrollment as soon as possible, to allow for another member on the waitlist to attend the class. If you arrive at class without RSVPing and cap has been met you will not be permitted to join the class.
All athletes must sign in with a CrossFit South Lamar coach prior to your scheduled class to allow them to change your status from RSVP’s to checked in.
If an athlete is late to class, they will need to check in with the coach on duty to determine if they will be able to attend class. We will extend a 5-10 minute grace period as long as the class is still in the middle of the group warm up. If the class has commenced the skill or strength portion of the class then the member will be asked to attend the next scheduled class of the day. Athletes who are allowed to join the class late, may be asked to sit out of the skill or strength portion, complete the warm up on their own and prepare for the WOD. This policy is meant to ensure that classes run on schedule and in a safe manner. We value your safety as well as our members and coaches time. Please make every effort to arrive on time, if not early for class. Additionally, if a member is consistently late to class the member will be asked to attend the next available class of the day.
CHILDREN & DOG POLICY:
CrossFit South Lamar prides itself on being a child and dog-friendly, family environment. But in the interest of keeping everyone as safe and as focused on their fitness as possible, we ask that you adhere to these policies regarding children and our four legged friends.
Minors over the age of 10, capable of participating in an adult class, are permitted to do so under the supervision of their parents. We love to introduce young athletes to CrossFit, but our regularly scheduled adult classes are not designed to set aside the special attention needed for a young, growing athlete. So, while we allow and encourage minors over the age of 10 to join their parents in a workout, we require the parent to take full responsibility for the child and reserve the right to cease their involvement if they become a distraction or detraction from the rest of class or are unable to perform the movements safely.
All children not participating in class, need to be capable of sitting quietly, unattended in the gym. Children must be off the gym floor during classes. Please clean up after your children, including any snacks they may want to enjoy during the class.
Dogs that bark, whine, jump, bite or are in any way a distraction from the athletes at the gym are not allowed. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and kept outside of the gym. We reserve the right to ask you to remove a disruptive dog at any time.
Classes get priority to space and equipment. If you arrive early for class or stay after to complete accessory/mobility work, a warm up/cool down please stay off to the side and do not interfere with on-going classes.
We reserve the right to scale or stop your training session at any time if it is deemed unsafe to yourself or those around you.
